Our research findings indicate that MOOC research is generally derived from education, engineering and computer science, as well as information and communication technology related disciplines. Below is the presentation that I gave at the Girl Geek Dinner in Cape Town , 4 May, about women, mobiles ( mwomen ) and exciting possibilities. In 2004 I attended a screening of Shake Hands with the Devil , a documentary about General Romeo Dallaire who headed up the UN peacekeeping forces in Rwanda during the 1994 genocide. This really struck me. Since that night, I do believe it.
