The 2017 Global NGO Online Technology Report polled thousands of nonprofits and NGOS across six continents and 153 countries to gain a sense of how nonprofits are using technology today. In the North America, 29% of nonprofits ranked text messaging as “very effective,” the highest possible rating. And yet only 3% of North American nonprofits regularly send text messages to donors and supporters.
