This one was spot-on and even I was amazed how quickly the omnipresent BlackBerry wireless handset, the standard issue weapon of choice for mobile enterprise workers, started to lose its’ place inside every corporate pocket and purse. Content shops are definitely getting into the game and offering expertise in the design and delivery of content and games for tablets like the Apple iPad.

An LCD approach to interface/activity design is one that caters for the widest range of platforms by creating a single, non-adaptive document designed to be viewable on the most basic and least functional of those platforms. According to TRAI, there are 286 million wireless subscribers in India, June 2008, of which 76 million were capable of accessing data services. This example of mobile learning shows an application designed for women in villages without access to proper prenatal care. The increasing ubiquity of the mobile phone begs for it to be used as a learning tool.

A good mobile learning strategy can take advantage of even simple devices that cost little to nothing from most wireless carriers. While yes, there are some limitations that various mobile operating systems have, such as the iPhone's ability to run Flash content, this is only a limitation for poorly designed mobile learning programs. A good mobile learning strategy takes into account what the learners have and need and designs accordingly. Once again, we are graced with another article touting the problems with Mobile Learning. Let's address some of these myths.
