Thanks to a twitter forward from Adam Sutcliffe , I have been playing with a new cell phone podcasting tool called (CINCH) Blog Talk Radio. This is probably the easiest podcasting tool that I have ever used. You do not even have to create an account before doing a podcast from your cell phone! You simply call the international number of 1-646-200-0000 (so easy to remember), and you just say your podcast after the tone. The positive It is so easy to use. No accounts. No login and passwords. No embedding files. No Website maintenance.

Since then I have been "playing" with the idea and have developed a way to create PowerPoint Enhanced Podcast movies for cell phones. So an enhanced podcast includes images along with narration. The history site on Colonial Williamsburg is a great example of an enhanced podcast. You can make an Enahnced Podcast easily in the MAC version of PowerPoint.

While I have used this resource to hear current news with CNN or my favorite NPR programs, any podcast that has an RSS feed can become mobile. Here is how. 1) Copy the RSS feed for the podcast that you would like to hear 2) Login to [link] 3) Paste the RSS feed into podlinez 4) Immediately a phone number will be generated, where you can call anytime from any phone to get the latest updates on the podcast! For example, I use Odiogo and I put my Odiogo RSS feed into Podlinez.
